Research-Based Learning in Mobile Communication Course: With Assistance of Mobile Newspaper

A well focused topic nowadays is the efficient application of information technologies and its existing resources in the modernization of education. And research-based learning mode is expected to be widely used among undergraduates in universities. In this paper, a mobile newspaper system (MPS) and its platform for research-based learning is designed and applied to the research-based learning in mobile communication course. As results indicate, breakthrough emerges in the teaching method and the role-playing of students and instructors after the MPS is applied. Also, the creativity of the students is cultivated as a result of a progress in both the learning spirit and questioning consciousness.
