Study of Remote Sensing Image Fusion Method Based on Wavelet

Wavelet is a kind of atom about time frequency on the base of functional analysis,harmonic analysis and Fourier's analysis.It simultaneously has the sectional characteristic and the multi-resolution characteristic in the time and the frequency domain.The remote sensing image fusion is an important link in the remote sensing image processing,is an important method of image data processing.But the method choice is the key to fusion result.the recent years,union the traditional fusion method and the wavelet has become the research focus.This article combined the wavelet and the HIS transformation fusion method,and experiments proved this method can maintain the spectrum information of multi-spectrum image and the high resolution of the pan-image at the same time.
