Application Analysis on Partial Discharge On-line Monitoring Technology for Gas Insulated Metal Enclosed Switchgear Based on Ultra High Frequency Method

For mastering operation conditions of gas-insulated metal enclosed switchgear equipments,it is necessary to proceed real time monitoring for insulated state.This paper introduces detecting principles,system constitution and application practice of GIS partial discharge on-line monitoring system based on ultra high frequency method by combining internal defect discovery of 220 kV GIS in one substation.The application result show that this system can discover discharge defects inside equipments in time and correctly judge fault types of equipments by combining its own professional data base which may provide decision basis for avoiding accidents and arranging repair schedule reasonably.
