The anti-fibritic effect of combination treatment with lamivudine and captopril on patients with chronic hepatictis B

Objective:To study anti-fibrosis effect of combination treatment with lamivudine and captopril on patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB).Methods: Clinical data of 166 cases of CHB patients who were divided into protecting liver group,lamivudine treatment group,captopril treatment group and combination treatment group with lamivudine and captopril.The change of serum fibrosis markers of CHB patients before and after treatment were determined.Results and Conclusions: All the levels of liver serum fibrosis markers before and after treatment changed siginificantly among 4 treatment groups,especially combination treatment group.Ridit analysis showed that combination treatment group provided greater anti-fibrosis efficacy than other groups in terms of efficacy rate.
