A Basic Proxy System Design for Integrating Complicated Distributed Simulation Systems

A management and control infrastructure comprising a macro-control system and some proxy systems can be used to integrate heterogeneous and distributed simulation systems. This paper proposes a design of a basic proxy system based on DDS (Data Distribution Service). It discusses the function, architecture and operating process of a proxy system. The weaponry proxy system is used as an example to specify the details of the running principle and process of the function modules. At last, we use a case study to illustrate the feasibility and performance of the proxy system in integrating complicated distribution simulation systems.
