The 37.5 km s−1 redshift periodicity of galaxies as the machion frequency

1996
Abstract The best determined extragalactic redshift periodicity is 37.5 km s −1 . It is calculated that if the signal carrier for inertial mass - here called the machion - has an energy of about 6 × 10 −29 eV this periodicity could be explained as shells of periodically diminished visibility with distance. This prediction is tested by examining the distribution of nearby galaxies.
