The invention relates to a fire retardant coating of a water-based ultra-thin formed steel structure. The fire retardant coating comprises, by weight, 50-100 parts of styrene-acrylic emulsion BLJ-816, 20-40 parts of melamine, 20-30 parts of pentaerythritol, 20-30 parts of ammonium polyphosphate, 5-20 parts of titanium dioxide and 1-10 parts of inflaming retardant agent. The fire retardant coating of the water-based ultra-thin formed steel structure has the good fireproof performance and has wide prospects in industrial application.
