Human-Centered Referential Process Models for AI Application

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the trendsetting technologies of this time. Consequently, a growing number of people from various domains and backgrounds need to be empowered to understand, evaluate and utilize AI capabilities correctly. Therefore, diverse and novel means to properly describe AI-related methods and technologies as well as to prevent misunderstandings are called for. At the same time, human aspects in any system should be at the center of consideration. To fulfill the implicated requirements, we investigated formal process modelling as a useful description means with the goal to get more precise and better understandable explanations and descriptions. We have created several referential process models in the context of AI deployment for various use cases on different abstraction levels. The results of this research are presented and discussed in this work.
