Experimental Study on the Beneficiation Process for a Copper-tungsten-molybdenum Ore from Jiangxi

2010
A copper-tungsten-molybdenum ore from Jiangxi contains mainly chalcopyrite 、molybednite and wolframite as valuableminerals that are associated with magnetic pyrite.Beneficiation tests were made on this ore to provide a basis for its exploitation andutilization.Analyses the dressing experiment research.Test by comparison,The first, using Cu-Mo mixing floatation,Then,Cu-Mo separation, last ,wolframite recovery by gravity separation .Which obtained copper concentrate grading 91.35 % at a recovery of 26.38 %;molybdenum concentrate grading 83.54 % at a recovery of 51.23 %;tungsten concentrate grading 71.25 % at a recovery of 52.58 %.Achieving a good comprehensive recovery of the valuable elements of the ore.
