The utility model relates to a rigidity and damp controllable shock damper, particularly a shock damper which uses magnetic current variable material as damping medium. The shock damper is composed of an inner sleeve (1), an outer sleeve (2), a magnetic current variable elastomer (3), an inner coil winding (4), an outer coil winding (5) and a reluctance loop (6), wherein cavities are arranged in the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve. The cavity in the inner sleeve is provided with the inner coil winding, and the cavity in the outer sleeve is provided with the outer coil winding. The inner sleeve forms a column shape or a ring shape, the magnetic current variable elastomer which forms a circularity shape is positioned outside the inner sleeve, the outer sleeve which also forms a ring shape is positioned outside the magnetic current variable elastomer, and the magnetic current variable elastomer, the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve are concentric. The magnetic current variable elastomer is fixedly connected with the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve at the same time. The walls of the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve, which are connected with the magnetic current variable elastomer, are respectively provided with openings. The reluctance loop is arranged in the openings. The rigidity and damp controllable shock damper has the advantages of good vibration damping effect, simple structure, no need of enclosure and good stability.
