Short axial length : risk factors for central retinal vein occlusion

1994
Twenty patients with central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO) were studied in regard to their ocular axial lengths by A-scan ultrasonography and were compared with the results in 100 age-matched controls. The axial lengths in eyes with CRVO were significantly smaller than those in control eyes, suggesting that a short axial length might be considered a risk factor in CRVO
