Synthesis of some acetylenic and halovinyl heterocyclic carbonyl compounds and their activity against some phytopathogenic fungi

Twenty-three acetylenic or halovinyl carbonyl compounds with heterocyclic substituents were synthesised and tested in vivo against eight phytopathogenic fungi of different taxonomic classes. Some of them were fungicidal against Uromyces appendiculatus on Phaseolus vulgaris, though none showed a wide spectrum of activity.
