Along with the implement of strategic of West-Open up of nation,the highway construct like a raging fire in westward.And in the face of mountainous area with complicated geological condition,tunnel is always adopted in design and construction.But during the construction of tunnel,many geological disasters such as collapse,peak-emit,water-emerging often occurred,which affected the plan and quality of tunnel construction seriously.So the advanced exploration and forecast of geological disaster already became a problem in need of research imperatively and arouse more and more attention and consideration broadly.On the base of discussion and ponder of the exploration technology such as engineering geology investigation,level drilling,geological radar and TSP203,the synthetical technology of advanced exploration and forecast of geological di?saster?—?integrating long-range forecast with short-term forecast,and many measures supplement each other?—?were brought forward after research and practice of many tunnels in Shaoyang-Huaihua highway.And then after application in many fact engineering,the effect is very favorable.
