Role and Management of Intracranial Pressure in Neuroanesthesia

2015
In neurological and neurosurgical intensive care and emergency, many pathological conditions are associated with increased intracranial pressure (ICP). The most significant factor for morbidity and mortality is increased ICP. Management of increased ICP is important, and further understanding of the physiology and pathophysiology of ICP is required. General and stepwise specific treatments should be performed to reduce increased ICP.
