Study of early enterial nutrition to patient with acute pancreatitis

Objective Study of early enterial nutrition gopatient with acutepancreatitis Methods Of treatment:Naso-jejunal duct is placed through gastric endography bedside.Abdominal X-ray can assure position of nam-jejunal duct.EN is given by the duct after 48-72 hours (average 60 hours).Mehtod of blous is 17 cases and pump 8 cases.During EN 18 cases have continuous naso-gastric drainage.12 for 7 days and 6 for 10 days,the rest 7 no naso-gastric drainage.All patients are observed for 14-20 days.Serum and urine amylase,hepatic function,renal function,electrolyte,blood glucose and blood routine are test in admission day and 1,3,7,14,20 days. Result The change of serum and urine amylase is not influenced by EN and both decrease with disease relieves.No change happen in hepatic function,renal function and electrolyte.Clinically,no abdominal pain,distension and diarrhea appear.After 2-3 days of EN,abdominal distension relieve and patient pass stool.After averaging 10-14 days patient can eat. Conclusion Early using EN through naso-jejunal duct in AP patients is pratical,safe and has no side-effect.It can relieve pain of patient and save medical cost.This method is worthy of recommendation.
