Structuring document libraries for the 90's

1993
There are dozens of documentation choices for virtually every planning decision. One must consider not only printed documentation, but a huge variety of online and multimedia documents as well. The authors raise the question of how responsible managers can maintain control of documentation planning and make successful tradeoffs about the appropriate support for each product and audience segment? A decision-making process that can begin early in the product development cycle, when planning decisions can be most cost-effective is presented.
