Townhall in the Middelpunt of Middelburg

The Spring Introduction Programme 2016 welcomes about 300 international students. Throughout a week of project work students design an iconic building and an academic poster, get familiarized with the Delft study method, and working in multicultural groups. In our project team, Middelburg/Middelpunt, we designed an iconic building based on the following design principles: using waste to build a sustainable model. Innovative solutions included, sustainability was considered within the material choice as well as for the student’s budgets, everything was free as it was waste. We learnt that the architects throw away lots of useful tools from this project that will be useful in our studies.
