Espaço de meio de hospedagem rural no Brasil como signo de espaço cívico

The objective of the research was to demonstrate the manifestation of civism in spaces of rural lodging in Brazil. The object of the research was the Matsuo Site in Alto Tiete Valley, SP, Brazil. The methodology used bibliographic survey in primary and secondary data, space reading in loco, photographic survey to read the space and open interview. The interpretation of the data was supported by the Montage Theory of Walter Benjamin and the ideal of abduction of the peircean semiotics. The results confirm attributes of civism space in rural lodging.
