A transistor amplifier for registration of the low current part of a Langmuir probe characteristic

In this article we will describe a device useful for registration on an oscilloscope screen of the part of the probe characteristic in which the ion current predominates. This device is especially useful when the ion saturation current is very small (a few microamps) and the registration time is short (1 msec).
