A New Inertial Measurement Method of Ship Dynamic Deformation

In order that the ship can provide the exact heading, attitude and other motion parameters for achieving the unified attitude standard of entire ship, it is essential to estimate the deformation angle of ship's deck. This paper firstly analyzes the deformation rule, and derives the ship's deformation mathematical models with the second order Markov process. Then, the deformation misalignment angle is estimated by such inertial measurement method as angular rate iterative algorithm. And this paper studies different sampling period and gyroscope precision of SINS effects on measurement results. The results of an extensive simulation study indicate that such iterative algorithm has characteristics of high precision and rapid convergence. The ship's flexibility deformation by instantly impact can be estimated effectively.
