Convergence of H-double Splitting for H-matrices

In this paper, we introduce H-double splitting and H-compatible double splitting, and investigate the relationship between these different splittings and their convergence. As an application, we study the convergence of the Gauss-Seidel double SOR-type methods and that of Jacobi double SOR-type methods for solving a linear system whose coefficient matrix is an H-matrix.
