The invention relates to a method and system for compositely testing a veiling glare coefficient and point source transmittance. Cost can be saved to a large extent. According to the method, the positions of a collimating mirror in a first system and a second system are debugged in advance, and when the veiling glare coefficient is measured, the collimating mirror is moved to the position marked in the first system. When the point source transmittance is measured, the same collimating mirror is moved to the position marked in the second system. The system comprises the first system used for measuring the veiling glare coefficient and the second system used for measuring the point source transmittance, and the first system and the second system share the same collimating mirror. An off-axis reflector mechanism is innovatively used in the method and system, testing cost is greatly saved, and through the cooperation of a light source system, a collecting system and the like, the accurate and complete test of the stray light restraining capacity of the optical component of a large-bore long-focus camera is achieved.
