Excess effective Debye temperature of binary liquid mixtures from sound velocity measurements at 298.15K

2003
The excess effective Debye temperature (θ E D) has been evaluated for six binary mixtures, namely; n-heptane + toluene, n-heptane + n-hexane, toluene + n-hexane, cyclohexane + n-heptane, cyclohexane + n-hexane, n-decane + n-hexane over entire range of mole fractions at 298.15 K using the experimental data of ultrasonic velocity and density. The results thus obtained have been interpreted in the light of intermolecular interactions and modifications of the internal structure of the mixtures.
