The present invention discloses a method of intelligent control based on the direction of the driver's car model. The method of the present invention first prediction preview period position T time car can reach based on the current running state of the vehicle, and compared with the after T time of the target position, to obtain two those deviations, the deviation between the two, then the desired transverse vehicle velocity is compared with the actual vehicle speed and the lateral T is the ratio of a desired transverse vehicle velocity, to give the desired transverse vehicle velocity difference; then the calculated steering wheel angle, steering wheel and controls the steering wheel angle obtained. The present invention also discloses an intelligent control system based on the direction of cars driver model, preview module comprising, a prediction module, a comparison module, a calculation module and a control module. Compared to the prior art, the driver model established the present invention, the parameter which is directly obtained from the vehicle parameter, parameters having a simple, clear physical meaning advantages, control of the car more accurate and realistic.
