Limiting and allowable loads on a sand foundation bed

Through this paper, which has its own direct relation to the thematics of the issue, the authors continue discussion of the problem of evaluating the limiting states of beds, which was opened in the pages of our journal in 1996. Considering the importance of the problem, which touches upon the fundamentals of the ideology of modern Construction Rules and Regulations, the editorial office and editorial staff of the journal have prepared to discuss, in priority order, papers advancing the proposed subject, especially if they contain specific comparisons between calculations performed in accordance recommendations of the Construction Rules and regulations and numerical methods using various soil models and experimental data.
