JSC congresses 2011

2011
Too frequently student conferences include participants from just a handful of students per school and do not engage the wider student populations. This is then promoted as being 'the voice of young people' - and this approach needs to be challenged. A further challenge for conference organisers is to off er students a decision making process that is at both legitimate and instructive. The Junior School Council Congress was created by Second Strike in 2008 to address these challenges.
