This chapter refers to two constitutive issues: on the one hand there are expanding research activities within organizational educational science, which dislimitate well-known disciplinary boundaries; on the other hand the important question of the theory-practice-dilemma is addressed. In the first part both issues are outlined in their account for the methodological and pragmatic discussion within organizational education. The second part introduces the contributions of this section and their specific focus on educational and non-educational organizations as sites of organizational educational research and practice.
