The Microstructural Evolution of Domestic T23 Steel During Creep

2006
The specimens before and after crept at 550 ℃,600 ℃and 650 ℃were chosen to study the microstructural evolution and the effect on the properties of domestic T23 steel.During creep, there is no obvious change of MX,while M_7C_3 carbides disappear and M_(23)C_6 carbides coarsen gradually, even a few M_(23)C_6 carbides transform to M_6C.Furthermore dislocation density decreases dues to the recovery and recrystallization of the bainitic ferrite matrix and the martensite in the prior austenite small island. The higher temperature is,the quicker microstructural evolution becomes, and the more property degradation is.
