Modelling enantiomer separation by CE

The first step in understanding the enantiomeric separation process in CE is the development of a simple physical model. The purpose of the simple physical model is an adequate description of the underlying interactions between the chiral selector and the two enantiomeric forms of the analyte. The mathematical model will follow once the physical model has been established.
