Loop algebra approach to generalized sine‐Gordon equations

A modification of the loop algebra approach to completely integrable equations is proposed. Hamilton’s equations are given for a generalized sine‐Gordon equation and solutions of this equation are constructed in terms of the Riemann theta functions.
