Computer investigation and verification of the operation of a single-phase on-grid inverter with hysteresis-current control

The paper presents study of a single-phase on-grid inverter with hysteresis-current control. The control system monitors the output current of the full bridge inverter's schema which is connected to the grid through LCL filter. The study is made through two software products - MATLAB/SIMULINK and PSIM. A comparison of the simulation results obtained by the two software products is made. The harmonic spectrums of the voltage of the point of common coupling (PCC) and the current from / to the grid are studied. Experimental results are also put. The computer simulation and the experimental study are made for two cases - first, the load current is equal to the inverter's current, and, second, the load current is twice as bigger as the inverter's current.
