Research on CAX/PDM/ERP integrating in manufacturing industry

The relevance of CAD/CAM/CAPP in interior manufacturing industry and enterprise ERP as well as the relations between in- ternet and intranet is analyzed. The method of how to use PDM as a middle bridge to integrate enterprise CAX system with enterprise ERP is also dissertated, and then a model on the base of the information integrating system of manufacturing industry is built. The purpose of application research based on the CAX/PDM/ERP integrating model is to enhance the integration depth and extent of manu- facturing industry information system, and to offer a steady guarantee of enterprise's development and competition.
