Investigation of the possibility of improving the adhesion of petroleum dewaxing products to lignite

The influence of the surface moisture of coal, the composition and temperature of the coating surface on the adhesion characteristics is determined. Coal samples with a surface moisture of 3.5-4% treated with a melt of a gatch-petrolatum mixture at 135-150°C have the maximum adhesion characteristics.
