A new method in bioinformatics – Interdisciplinary similarity studies

Similarity studies in different areas of computational science are briefly reviewed. In particular, a new method called by us 2D-dynamic Representation of DNA/RNA Sequences aiming at similarity studies of biological sequences is described. It is shown that similarity studies are also a convenient tool to study the retirement threshold in social science using a method of computational statistics correspondence analysis.
