RESEARCH OF THE NURSING ROUTINE FOR PATIENTS TO REDUCE THE RISK OF DEEP VEIN THROMBOSIS FOLLOWING HEPATOBILIARY SURGERY
2010
Objective To demonstrate the effect of early exercises of patients to reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis. Methods In the study,206 cases of hepatobiliary surgery disease were radomly divided into two groups. The experimental group(n=104) began particular exercise early on the day of surgery. The control group(n=102) began exercise after the day of surgery according to nursing routine for hepatobiliary surgery. The plasma D-Dimer and coagulation status were tested on pre-operation and 4days after operation. Results The symptoms related to DVT were much more obvious in control group than in the experimental group with significant difference. The plasma level of D-Dimer was more higher in control group than in the experimental group on the 4th day after operation. Conclusion Starting particular exercise earlier on the day of surgery could reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis after hepatobiliary operation.
