Studies on Resource of Actinorhizal Trees and Their Frankia Endophytes

1992
The actinorhizal tree-Frankia association is one of the important symbiotic nitrogen-fixing systems. The Frankia endophytes are of strong ability to nodulate various host plants of economic importance for forestry, and fix nitrogen. Actinorhizal trees can be used as a source of timber, fuelwood and fiber and increase the productivity of natural forests and plantations.
