Distributions of the Collision Times Between Two Atoms That Have Overcome the Potential Barrier on the Surface

2020
The evaporation of atoms from the surface of the condensed phase is of interest both from the practical and theoretical point of view. The existence of a potential barrier on the surface of the condensed phase is a necessary condition for solving the problem of the movement of atoms over the surface of the condensed phase. The size of the potential barrier, the surface temperature of the condensed phase, and the weight and size of the atoms affect the density of atom collision distributions over time and the average collision times.
