The Separation of Aluminium and Magnesium in Some Antacid Drugs Using Zirconium(IV) Phospho and Silico Arsenate Columns

Abstract A new, simple and highly selective method has been described to separate aluminium from magnesium quantitatively in antacid drugs using zirconium (IV) phospho-and silico-arsenate columns. The results obtained are precise and accurate within the experimental error range (±1%).
