Research on Effects of the Public Rental Housing Policy in China: Based on the Perspective of Public Policy Evaluation

Since 2009, some new low-income housing policies and housing assistance approaches have been taken to improve the performance of Chinese housing system. Based on evaluation of public policy, this paper assesses the effects of public rental housing policy in the large cities in china. Evaluation results show that 43% of examinees were not sure the housing system reform would have a positive effect, which reveals that public rental housing policies need more accurate design and implementation.
