Indirect spectrophotometric microdetermination of paracetamol using chloranil
1987
Abstract Paracetamol (60–600 μg) is determined spectrophotometrically after acid hydrolysis to p -aminophenol, and formation of chloranil complex with p -aminophenol in solution of pH 9. The method is relatively accurate (with recovery of 100 ± 1.0) precise (RSD ⩽ 0.1%) and is applied successfully for tablets.
