Samples have been taken from 12 bituminous coal-fired power stations and natural gypsum storage areas and have been examined. The slight differences between natural and FGD gypsums in chemical composition and in trace elements content are insignificant from a health point of view. FGD gypsums can be used without any doubts about health problems for the production of construction materials
