A Clinico‐Pathological Study of Some Factors Influencing Survival in Cancer of the œsophagus: A Survey of Ten Years' Experience
1973
Three hundred and thirty-two patients with histologically proved carcinoma of the œesophagus, admitted over a ten-year period to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, were studied according to the site, histological type, stage and grading of their malignancies. The survival rates after resection and palliative treatments, including radiotherapy, were correlated with these factors.
