EVALUACIÓN DE LA FUNCIONALIDAD DE CÁMARA DE CRECIMIENTO AEROPÓNICO PARA CULTIVO DE LECHUGA EN INVERNADERO (EVALUATING THE FUNCTIONALITY OF AN AEROPONIC GROWING CHAMBER FOR LETTUCE CROPS IN A GREENHOUSE)

Resumen La finalidad de este trabajo es disenar, implementar y evaluar la funcionalidad de una camara de crecimiento aeroponico para invernadero durante tres ciclos de cultivo de lechuga. Se presenta el prototipo final de un sistema aeroponico capaz de producir plantas saludables y que ademas es ecologico al cumplir las expectativas de conservar agua y energia. El desarrollo optimo del cultivo depende especialmente de las condiciones ambientales requeridas por la planta y de la fertirrigacion que le proporciona los nutrientes indispensables para su crecimiento. Durante la evaluacion del prototipo con los tres ciclos de cultivo se observo estres hidrico y por temperatura, sin embargo, las plantas desarrollaron su ciclo favorablemente. Abstract The main proporse of this project is to design, implement and evaluate the functionality of an aeroponic growth chamber, which is inside of a greenhouse, during three cycles. The final prototype presented is capable to produce healthy plants, besides performing expectations of conservation water and energy in order to be ecological for the environment.The optimal development of the crop depends especially on the environmental conditions required by the plant and the fertigation that provides it with the essential nutrients for its growth. During the evaluation of the prototype with the three cultivation cycles, water and temperature stress were observed, however, the plants developed their cycle favorably.
