Limitations of Induced Hypotension

1985
Induced hypotension today is a well established technique. It is clear though, that manipulating blood pressure is a delicate issue. Every anaesthetist who deals with it should know the limitations and complications of the methods. In this paper we would like to deal with some fundamentals of blood pressure, organ perfusion and tissue oxygenation followed by a case report. We shall end with some considerations for the clinical management of induced hypotension.
