The method of producing a carbon nanofiber according to the present invention, wherein the first polymer using hydrazine hydrate and the surfactant is polyvinyl pyrrolidone, in a hydrothermal synthesis of semiconductor nanowires 160-200 ℃ tellurium; and tellurium using the semiconductor nanowires as templates, carbohydrate sugars employed, at a reaction temperature of 160-220 ℃ 4-20 hours to synthesize carbon-coated nano tellurium cable, as intermediates in the preparation of carbon nanofibers; reoxidation removed tellurium Te semiconductor die nanocable obtain carbon nano fiber. Using the method of the present invention avoids the carbonization process of carbon sphere; since reaction is carried out at lower temperatures, carbohydrates not completely carbonized, tellurium nano-fiber cable and the surface of the obtained carbon nano-coated carbon having a large number of functional groups . Readily available starting material according to the present invention, the process requires relatively simple and easy operation, more suitable for industrialization to enlarge.
