Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-1 (TREM1) is a cell surface immunoglobulin that amplifies pro-inflammatory responses in myeloid cell populations and has been implicated in carcinogen-induced liver cancer. However, its role in breast cancer is unknown.
