PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source apparatus capable of improving light extracting efficiency from a light-emitting device. SOLUTION: The light source apparatus 29 consists of a substrate 1 having a pair of electrodes 2, 3, the light-emitting device 4, and a transparent resin 7 for sealing the light-emitting device 4. A white resist layer 6 is formed on the substrate 1 so as to cover one part of the electrodes 2, 3, an opening 6A is provided on the white resist layer 6 on at least the light-emitting device 4 and its vicinity and on terminals of the electrodes 2, 3, and a white member 8 is formed on the white resist layer 6. In this light source apparatus 29, the height of the upper surface of the white resist layer 6 is made to be lower than the light-emitting surface of the light-emitting device 4.
