Effect of Chromium pollution on Leersia hexandra physiological indices

Different physiological indices in Leersia hexandra were compared under normal and Chromium pollution environment,to probe the tolerance of Leersia hexandra under the heavy metal pollution environment and provide scientific references that whether it could be used as a phytoremediation material.The results showed that under Chromium pollution environment,the content of chlorophyll and proline,and the activity of SOD,POD in Leersia hexandra were reduced,the content of soluble sugar,MDA,flavonoid and soluble protein,and the activity of CAT were all enhanced,the SDS-PAGE analysis revealed that no different bands appeared,the results showed that Leersia hexandra could adapt the certain concentration of Chromium stress and make corresponding adjustment.
