Relationship between interferon-gamma gene polymorphism and hematuria and pathological grades in IgA nephropathy

2017
Objective To Study the relationship between the single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in IFN-γ+ 874A/T and primary IgA nephropathy (IgAN) related hematuria and pathological grades. Methods DNA from 131 IgAN patients and 138 normal controls was extractal, and the SNP in IFN-γ+ 874A/T gene were determ ined by special sequence pri mer of polymerase chain reaction (PCR-SSP). The genotype and allele distribution of the two groups were compared, and the relationship between genotype and gender, hematuria and pathological changes of tgAN patcents was analyzed. Results There was no significant difference in the incidence of different genotypes with sex, microscopic hematuria, and pathological grading of Hass (P>0.05). Conclusion There is no correlation between IFN-γ+ 874A/T SNP and IgAN, gender, microscopic hematuria, Hass pathological grading.
