Maintenance and Testing Platform for New Generation Weather Radar

Constructing new generation weather radar maintenance and testing platform, it can solve many problems in current radar technology support work, such as fault diagnosis methods encountered, high maintenance cost, unable to carry out component and chip level maintenance, contribute to improve the utilization rate of radar spare parts, and reduce maintenance cost, improve the time efficiency of troubleshooting. This paper discusses the design idea and implementation method of radar provincial-level fixed platform, which has maintenance and testing functions, and introduces platform’s function, hardware and software composition, and system architecture. Through the testing of the tested components, the platform function and overall performance were tested. The platform’s indicators can meet the relevant requirements of radar maintenance and testing. It has important practical significance for the performance testing, fault diagnosis, maintenance of radar system spare parts.
